We believe the fastest way to build trust is to be clear about how we operate — including the parts most companies try to gloss over.
So here it is, plainly.
Yes, We’re a Two-Person Team
Guided Path Solutions is led by two founders.
That’s not a secret. It’s a design choice.
When you work with GPS, you’re working with the people who designed the systems, chose the tools, and are responsible for the outcomes.
No “let me check with my manager.”
No disappearing acts.
So who are we?
Guided Path Solutions was founded by two IT leaders who have spent their careers running real, complex, enterprise environments — and who decided there had to be a better way to deliver IT to smaller organizations.
We didn’t come from the MSP world.
We came from the “this system actually matters” world.
Justin Welsh
Co-Founder
Justin is an IT infrastructure and operations leader with more than two decades of experience designing, running, and modernizing large-scale environments.
His background spans:
- Global infrastructure and operations leadership
- Security and service management
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Vendor strategy and contract management
- Building tems across regions and time zones
Justin has led IT organizations responsible for:
- Enterprise server and network platforms
- Active Directory and identity modernization

- Disaster recovery and operational resilience
In short, Justin specializes in making complicated environments boring again — through standardization, automation, and systems that don’t depend on heroics to function.
He believes most IT problems are solvable before users notice them, and if they aren’t, something upstream was missed.
(He’s usually right.)

If identity is the front door to your business, Bryan is the one making sure it locks correctly — and unlocks quickly for the right people.
Why This Partnership Works
Justin focuses on infrastructure, operations, and system health at scale.
Bryan focuses on identity, access, and secure service delivery.
Together, that covers:
The foundation
The front door
And everything users touch in between
We’ve both lived through:
Acquisitions
Audits
Outages
Vendor failures
“How did this ever work?” environments
And we’ve both learned the same lesson:
The best IT is boring, predictable, and quietly well-run.
